Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy services provided by the school system do not replace therapy students receive in a medical or rehabilitation setting.  Occupational therapy services are provided by the school system in order for the student to benefit from special education.  The need for school therapy services is determined by the complete evaluation conducted by pupil appraisal and the IEP team.
