Prior to entering 6th grade, all students 11years or older must show proof of meningococcal vaccination, 2 doses of Varicella (chicken pox) and one dose of Tdap (Tetanus,diphtheria, acellular pertussis). Continual on-going audits are being conducted to confirm your child's immunizations are up-to-date.  Please respond to the immunization notices your child's school is sending home.  Thank you for making sure your child's immunization are up-to-date.

Webster Parish health units will immunize walk-ins from 8:00 AM-3:00 PM on Thursday in Minden and on Monday in Springhill. Due to recent changes, only the uninsured and students with Medicaid will be able to receive vaccinations from the Health Unit.

All new students entering any school in Webster Parish must provide an official up-to date Louisiana immunization certificate. This can be obtained from your private physician or from your local health unit.  Please be aware that due to recent changes, only Medicaid or uninsured students will be able to receive their vaccinations from the health unit.  As of now, Springhill Health Unit will be giving vaccinations on Mondays from 8:00 am-3:00 pm.  Minden Health Unit will be giving vaccinations on Thursdays from 8:00 am-3:00 pm.  Please make sure your child's immunizations are up to date.
