Jones/Richardson Robotics Team places 6th out of 101 teams at the RARC Competition

In the 3rd and final Regional Autonomous Robotics Circuit (RARC) competition of the 16-17 school year,  the Jones/Richardson team had a 6th place finish out of 101 teams.  Jones/Richardson had a final over-all ranking of 9th out of 29 schools.  Jones/Richardson had 9 Robotics Competition Teams with a combination of 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students.

 

The Regional Autonomous Robotics Circuit (RARC) is a series of three robotics competitions for students in grades 3-12. The competitions build upon one another and allow students to showcase their STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) and cyber skills by competing against other students in their division (elementary, middle and high school) in a series of integrated challenges.
